Korean Language Courses (EPS Topik)

EPS TOPIK, conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor of South Korea, assesses the language proficiency of foreign workers seeking employment in Korean sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and agriculture. The test, held 1-3 times a year, determines eligibility for job applications and the issuance of the E-9 working visa. Eligibility criteria include age between 18 and 39, a clean criminal record, no deportation history, no travel bans, and compliance with joint eligibility standards. The 70-minute test comprises Listening and Reading sections, each with 25 multiple choice questions,evaluating basic communication skills, industry-related vocabulary, and understanding of Korean business culture. A passing score is 80 out of 200, with final selection based on specific requirements and applicant numbers.
