Driver cum Auto Mechanics

Overview

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill of a trainee in the field of driving an automotive vehicle as well as basic servicing and maintenance work of automobile according to the demand of automotive job market. This course has three competencies such as: basic, common acore competencies. The core competency covers the driving a vehicle as well as basic servicing and maintenance of engine and other vital part of automobile. This course in also designed to enhance the basic, and common knowledge and skill of a trainee in the field of driving and servicing work.

Objectives: 

1. To develop knowledge and skill on driving a vehicle in different conditions.
2. To develop knowledge and skill on stopping a vehicle during brake & steering failure. 
3. To develop knowledge and skill on defensive driving. 
4. To develop knowledge on traffic rules & regulations. 
5. To make awareness on duties & responsibilities of a driver. 
6. To develop knowledge and skill on servicing & maintenance work of automobile. 
7. To develop awareness on automotive air pollution.

Course Outline Timetable
Total 360 hours
Theory = 100
Practice = 260		06 days per week
Per day 08 hours
Theory = 02 hours
Practice = 06 hours
Total = 8 hrs, per working day

Entry Qualification:

JSC/JDC Pass or Class VIII Pass

Employment Opportunity:

i. In different Govt. Semi-Gove. autonomous and Non-Govt. Organizations.
ii. In abroad.
iii. Self employment within Country.
